From Our Board of Trustees   The Kulanu Campaign In Full Swing

In the spring of 2006 at our Congregational meeting we crossed the significant threshold as a community.  We voted-unanimously-to proceed with the groundwork for a campaign to raise the funds necessary to renovate and expand our synagogue building.  The theme for our campaign effort--"Kulanu"--which in Hebrew means "all of us" or "all together".  This theme represents all that our campaign is supposed to be about.  The time has come for us to improve the physical infrastructure of our community.  Not just to accommodate growth, but to better serve the needs of our existing members by expanding and improving our educational facilities, enhancing our sanctuary space in ways that lift our souls and spirits, and providing a place for meeting the community's social needs.  To do all this, we must work together; something that we have done throughout our history as a center of Jewish learning, prayer and gathering.

With these objectives in mind, I am pleased to report that the Kulanu campaign is progressing well.  The campaign committees to carry out the day-to-day work necessary for us to be successful--marketing, finance, donor recognition, and parlor meetings in addition to the building committee and a fund-raising team are working.  .
