MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Our purpose is to construct an unwavering network of businesses and business owners that jointly advocate on behalf of small Black-owned businesses within the community as well as nationally. We function as a voice for small businesses, as well as produce and render services that will be most effectively beneficial to the community, the business owner, and members of the chamber.
FROM IDEA TO IMPACT
After much research and assessment within our Black-Owned and Minority Business communities, The West-Central Florida Black Chamber of Commerce was founded by a group of committed business owners that saw the need in West-Central Florida.
TBCCT (The Black Chamber of Commerce At Tampa) is the registered Florida Not-For-Profit corporation. An IRS Certified A 501(c)(3) IRS certified corporation. Our DBA is West-Central Florida Black Chamber Of Commerce.

This program pillar explores,

You can access different tools and trainings to gain the knowledge and the true definition of a business.
Define or redefine your business plan.
Create your business pitch and prepare for financial support opportunities.
The Chamber is an advocate for small businesses and entrepreneurs. This pillar will aid in boosting you to the next stage of development of an idea or venture. We provide the tools to getting your business ready to face the marketplace. It is necessary to actually feel fully equipped before you start this journey, of entrepreneurship.
DEVELOP
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PILLAR (BDP)
The Business Development Pillar guides the business owner through the next steps with:
Increasing revenues.
Growth in terms of business expansion.
Increasing profitability by building strategic partnerships.
Making strategic business decisions.
BDP provides business support through training and education that will more clearly define your business, the ideas, initiatives, and activities to help make a business better.
This pillar will assist the business owner in cultivating relationships and partnerships, which will help identify new markets for your business product or service.
MAINTAIN
THE BUSINESS OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE (BOE)
Historically “Good” has not been adequate for Black Businesses. In order to maintain a strong business in an incredibly competitive environment, you must excel, and go above and beyond. To be exceptionally good, an organization needs to focus on all parts of the organization, optimizing the use and effectiveness of all of its resources.
Every business process matters. And your organization can only reach its full potential when all your processes are as efficient and effective as they can be. That is why your approach to process improvement – and achieving process excellence – are vital to gaining the advantage you need. Every improved process is progress.
This pillar is designed to permanently modify your organization by focusing on key management areas (Process, Project, Change, Knowledge, and Resource).
